Irving Convention Center

jo moncrief ART show 2020

NOTE: Due to increased COVID-19

cases in July, 2020, and some close

friends being recently diagnosed

with COVID-19, I have made a very

difficult decision to not participate

in this art show as an artist.

I feel that Urban Artist Mart has made every effort

possible to make this art show extremely safe for you as an attendee (see below).  I will miss being in this wonderful art community but hope to be an artist in future Urban Artist Marts.   I plan on attending this art show as an attendee.

Urban Artist Mart

Grand Ballroom - 4th floor

Friday, JULY 17       100 PM - 800PM

Saturday, JULY 18   10 AM - 600PM

video showing how much effort is being put into making this art show SAFE for everyone (with plenty of space for social distancing) and successful.  Urban Artist Market is dedicated to making this show as enjoyable and fun (but also with safe practices for COVID 19 in mind for everyone involved.)  This video also shows you how to navigate the Irving Convention Center to get to the art show.

NEW Location:

Grand Ballroom (shop in air conditioned comfort with extra wide and open aisles to allow for social distancing)

Irving Convention Center

500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.

Irving TX 75039

($10.00 for tickets)

The location has been moved from the Addison Convention Center to the Irving Convention Center to insure a much larger showroom area for you to leisurely and safely enjoy the diversity of the artist's wares.

Parking is attached to the convention Center. (parking is $5.00)

The Urban Artist Market is an indoor Air Conditioned juried art show featuring  artisans in a variety of disciplines selling their original artwork.  You will be delighted and amazed by a variety of distinctive, one-of-a-kind creations

More space means extra wide aisles to allow for social distancing and the ability to create a one-way traffic flow through the show room floor.  You can come back to a booth of your choice as much as you desire also.

The Urban Artist Market has expanded their open hours to spread out traffic evenly over the 2-day event.

The artists will wear masks throughout the event whenever anyone is near their booth

Disposable masks will be available at the entrance for attendees who have not brought their own mask.

Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned at the entrance and throughout the show floor.

The Irving Convention Center will be providing a snack stand with glass barriers in the main lobby that adheres to safety standards.

On Saturday, July 18, the show will open 10-12 noon to provide early shopping access for immune compromised and our community of 65 years of age and up.
