In 2016, two of Jo's paintings, Turbulence & Tranquility and Searching for What was, ( featured above and in the Gallery) have been accepted into North Light Books’ fourth annual Best of Acrylic competition AcrylicWorks 4: Captivating Color!  The book was released late spring of 2017 and is available on Amazon, etc. (quote from the publishers: "The artwork accepted in this book shows excellence and originality in acrylic paint achieved via a variety of styles and subjects."  115 paintings were accepted out of 3000 entries.
